A Little Bit About Us
The Lake Belton Yacht Club (otherwise known as the LBYC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 to promote the sport of sailing in Central Texas. It is located on beautiful Lake Belton at Franks Marina in Belton, Texas.
Our Board
The affairs and property of the organizations are managed by their Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are empowered to make decisions as would benefit the membership of this Club and charitable organization. The Board prepares annual budgets of operating funds and submits it for approval to the general membership for the yearly projects.
Why Support the LBYC?
Our program objectives are:
- Introduce adults, collegiate, and youth in the community to the sport of sailing
- Promote life-long values such as sportsmanship, consideration for others, teamwork, and selfworth
- Teach young people and adults how to sail to the best of their ability and interest, and to encourage growth in skill competence, through both individual and team participation

The membership of the Club and Fund are open to anyone interested in sailing or motor boating.
What Are the Options?
Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsorship donations will go directly to the club.
This includes:
- Membership in the LBYC which qualifies you to use the club’s assets at discounted prices
- Invitations to all LBYC social events
- Advertising on the LBYC website & social media

Charitable Donation
Charitable donations will go directly to the club fund.
This includes:
